TAKE TIME OUT
A retreat means time out.
Time away from the demands of every day life.
Time away from emails, phone calls, cooking and cleaning.
When do you take time just for YOU?
In Harmony Yoga Retreat Bali
5th to 10th September 2020
We all want to be HAPPY.
But ask yourself, are you looking for happiness in the right places? With busy lives, supporting and giving to others, how often do you step back and reflect about what your own needs are? What is it you need for your own happiness? When life is SO FULL it can be hard to find SPACE. But when we do give ourselves the time, we can be greatly rewarded by tapping into our inner resources - this is where true happiness, bliss and deep peace reside. Workshops and Retreats at Living Harmony Yoga aim to provide you with everything you need to retreat, reflect and take time for yourself. To return balance into your life. These are valuable opportunities to explore practices that resonate deep within your own being; that can bring you into a place of harmony within your own body and mind; a time to connect with others who too are seeking more from their own life and ways to live from an open heart. Re-energise and Restore Half day Yoga retreat
Journey through the Chakras - Yoga and Meditation workshops
Are you looking to dive deeper into understanding yourself, and the practices of yoga and meditation? These two workshops will allow you to Journey through the Chakras. Chakras are the energy centres of the subtle body. They provide a useful map into understanding the underlying aspects of ourselves. If these are blocked, closed or out of balance they can effect our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health. The physical asanas (poses) of yoga, meditation and mantra are a powerful way to activate into these centres and open the energy body. This is an authentic, grounded and traditional yoga practice. |
Workshop 1, Saturday 22nd September
The three lower chakras These are what connect us to the earth, feeling grounded and living with confidence: Mooladara - Base (grounded and rooted to nature), Svadistana - Sacral (flowing with our sacral creative side) Manipura - Solar plexus (tapping into our inner warrior) Workshop 2, Saturday 20th October
The upper three chakras These link us to the higher aspects of ourselves: Anahata - heart (overflowing with love and compassion) Visuddha- throat (authentic voice) Ajna - third eye (intuition and illumination) Through yoga (dynamic and yin), meditation, mantra and yoga nidra we will explore this map of the chakras that correlates to tissues, organs, glands, energy, emotions and the mind to understand where our blocks may be; identify places for healing and freeing; and experience practices that may provide a sense of rebalancing. DETAILS: 2:00pm to 4:30pm includes vegan afternoon tea and chai $35 for one workshop or book in for both for $60 |

Restore by candle lightWhen we are busy and stressed, it begins to take a toll on our nervous system. We become exhausted, our immunity becomes compromised, perhaps we become easily irritated and more emotional.
We cannot constantly take from our inner reserves without replenishing. Restorative yoga is the only form of yoga that replenishes us on all levels - the tissues, the nervous system, the energy channels, the mind. Breathing practices will guide you into the present moment to still the busyness of an over active mind. Passive supported poses allow your nervous system to rest, switching off the non-stop neural signals. Guided relaxation will support you into a state of mindfulness and deep relaxation. |
