I went on my first retreat 10 years ago and I came home feeling connected, healthy, as if everything was in tune and functioning how my body, mind and spirit should.
As everything aligned, it provided me with a deeper sense of who I was and where I was heading. My anxiety dropped away as I became more grounded. I felt reenergised so I could be more present, active and engaged in my life and with those around me. Plus, it reinvigorated the enthusiasm for my home practice which continues daily. I felt so expanded and joyous that it triggered the desire in me to teach yoga so that I could support others with practices that can enhance and transform their lives. I can’t wait to share this with you. |
A retreat is also a beautiful experience to share with a partner or close friend or family member. It was a bonding experience when my partner and I went on retreat together. I have seen mothers and daughters, best friends, siblings and colleagues all enjoy a retreat together and deepen their relationships.

Level of Yoga
The style I teach is suitable for all.
The morning practice is a Hatha flow style – meaning a series of dynamic poses such as sun salutations, standing and balance – the emphasis is on linking the breath to movement so that the whole practice becomes a moving meditation.
If you are a beginner, there are props and instruction for how to modify poses that are suitable for you and your body.
